Start up's - UK

We accept that start ups are not for everyone, but many of you are successful recruiters, often within a small and friendly group, and earning the owners literally a fortune. (Businesses are normally valued on a multiple of profit, so for example a recruitment business with profits of £450, 000 is probably worth about £3-4m.) Meanwhile you think that your £55,000 package or less is marvellous - or you did.

There are now several organisations that specialise in backing new recruiter businesses who normally give you up to 50% of the equity. You will not be required to put money in up front but you will need to sign a bond that will pledge that under certain circumstance you can be called to do so ( the sum is agreed and fixed and of course is smaller the larger the numbers in your group and the size of the overall risk represents).
